About Me

My friends tell me I am smart, funny, and a good friend. Depending on who I am with, I also remind folks that I am a retired psychologist, a writer, a college professor, former stand-up comedienne, former paralegal, a lapsed Red Cross volunteer and Instructor Trainer, and indentured servant to two wonderful feline companions.

Retirement doesn’t suit me, so I re-invented myself and now find purpose and meaning in helping others to age better and age well. Sometimes that looks like offering advice (when asked!) and sometimes it is sharing the wisdom of one of my mentors. Always, it is my way of connecting and trying to make the world a better place.
